This training program builds on PRB’s 40-year legacy of training researchers to communicate their findings for policy change. We are pleased to be able to offer a program designed to develop skills that U.S. researchers need to communicate with U.S. policy audiences, including decision makers and the media.

In partnership with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DfID) and The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the International Development Research Centre is pleased to announce a call for research proposals concerning the Growth and Economic Opportunities for Women (GrOW) program on the effect of specific patterns of growth on women’s economic empowerment.
Scope: This call aims to investigate the effect that specific patterns of growth have on women’s economic empowerment. Research also aims to determine which public policies and interventions can ensure that the positive effects of growth on women’s empowerment are enhanced and the negative effects minimized.
Budget total and apportionment: Through this call a single consortium is expected to undertake six to eight (6-8) projects within a total budget of up to CA $2 million. There is scope for funding one to two (1-2) individual research projects of under CA$300,000 if the proposed research is on a priority area.
